Activities planned for National Nursing Home Week: Theme for 2004 is

PUYALLUP, WA MAY 1, 2004 – National Nursing Home Week "Embracing Our Heritage' will be celebrated May 9-15, 2004. We will have numerous resident, family and staff events, including a Mother's Day Tea, Book Fair, Photo Contest, Chili Cookoff, Talent Show, and special entertainment. See the 'calendar of events' on the web site for further dates and info.

Other May events include: Plant Sale: The Residents Council is having a plant sale including numerous different starts. All starts are 25 cents per container. Residents have grown flower, herb and vegetable starts to help your garden grow. The sale will begin May 10 and continue until sold out!

The Resident Store is still in need of increasing its stock. Donations of small lotions, fragrances, mouthwashs, picture frames, stuffed animals, jewelry, etc. are appreciated.
